I worked with their son in Winona MN back in the 80s and IIRC he quit 
his technician job to work for the family business.  I had no idea their 
collection was this large!     As I recall the big thing back then was 
to convert old payphones into "private pay phones" which ran off a 
regular POTS line and generated revenue for the business owner.   You 
can now get them that work through wireless networks, as there is still 
a demand for certain applications.  Including people like me who are apt 
to leave their smartphone at home.
