Hi,
We moved a 35KSR back from Germany to the UK, on the back seat of a
saloon car, usinng the seat belts to hold it place just in case. We
could not get the whole top housing off the pedastal, it does not seem
to come apart but most of the cover comes off, but we did remove the
main mechanisim to reduce the overall weight and wrapped it on old
blankets, reassembling at the destination. We could have left it in one
piece but chose that method to reduce the struggling getting it into the
back of the car.
