It's curious there is a plain old oscilloscope next to the receiver.
In a ham station that would be the RTTY tuning indicator, but there is
no RTTY converter visible in the picture.  Except the receiver suggests
that it is a RTTY installation.

Another interesting feature is the Model 14 reperf mounted above the XD on
the 19.  We've often discussed that this was a popular arrangement even
though Teletype wanted to put the reperf under the table on a little
stool with casters.  The framework holding up the reperf is made of
steel rods, unlike the Western Electric ones that were made of wood or
sheet metal.  So I would guess it was locally fabricated.
