[GreenKeys] Teletype model 45 rectifier

Hi All,
One of the many Teletype things that I have gathered over the years is a rectifier. It is simply labeled as Teletype Rectifier, model 45. It has two cords coming out of it, one with a two prong plug but the planes of the prongs are 90 degrees from eachother, i.e., one is vertical and one is horizontal. The other cord has a socket on it, a strange three prong socket with the blade holes all with the plane of the blades facing into the center.
Does anyone have any information about this unit? Is it a loop supply? It would be wonderful if it was as the loop supply that I have been using is now defunct. Where would I get matching plugs and sockets so that I can use this device without butchering it?
