A fairly obscure and now expensive journal is Cryptologia. You might be
able to find (try inter-library loan) the article "The SIGCUM Story:
Cryptographic Failure, Cryptologic Success" in the October 1997 issue
of Cryptologia, page 289. Another article "Automatic Communications
With the SIGABA and the M-294" by Louis Kruh, October 1985, p. 311.

I once phoned NSA and asked to speak to a historian, and was connected
to Robert Hanyok. I suggested they ought to do a publication on the
role of Teletype Corp. in the crypto business. The reply I got was

"If you submit a FOIA request to the NSA for material concerning
the Teletype Corporation, or KL-47, or ADONIS, you might get something. No
guarantee, of course. But the NSA search would be rather focused and the
records requested would be easily identified and reachable. That is the
best I can come up with."

This was in 2007 and I've never done anything about it.
