A side benefit of the reversed tones and my TU set to "reverse" in my
case was that in the absence of the mark tone from the feed my machines
were held in the mark position and not running open, which would have
happened if the tones were "right side up." I don't have any autostart
stuff in my setup so the machines would be thumping away running open
between the reports.
