Many years ago this was a good idea. That was when we had air mail stamps
and regular mail took several days or more to get across the country.
You filled out the form at a post office, they sent it electronically to the
city of choice and it would go out the next day.
I remember as an early teen I was building model rockets. Would send off
for kits and it would take about a month for the letter to get there and the
mail to get back. That was around 1964.
Now email goes world wide in a few seconds . Packages usually arrive by
Friday or sooner (some in 2 days) if ordered on the internet Monday morning.
I have even received a few items on Sunday.

I remember thinking that it was a solution looking for a problem.
