It will be illegal to sell them, unless they are old stock, as it is in most of the EU and Europe. The latest rules also bans Halogen

I noticed my local “Bargain” store still had some Halogen, and “rugged use” incandescent bulbs can be had at a price…

.. but in general you are limited to LED bulbs for general purpose use…

Well, you can no longer buy them here down-under...  They're all either 
CFLs or LEDs.
