I think a lot of greenkeys folks have chosen to stay with computers from the 
1980s - 1990s with the associated RS232 serial ports etc and I guess with those 
you can get away with a couple of power transistors. 

I think for something that safely connects a 100+V loop to a modern computer 
and "just works" without a lot of fiddling around, it's pretty reasonable.

Of course, you need to have an application for it. If you only need to decode
AFSK off the air or from ITTY, it's not what you want.
