Well I want to try, but I've got a few more hurdles to jump before I get there. So please keep us informed.

I take it that since I got only one reply, thanks Bill, that only Bill and I have tried this?

Have anyone used the software on K7TTY , RTTY Terminal Software, to send received RTTY to a mechanical teletype machine, ASR28?
According to the web site, K7TTY.com<http://k7tty.com> the options under Data Flow controls, option 4 - Echo MMTTY Received to RS232 Transmit acts like a repeater sending anything received via the sound card to the RS232 port. Use this method if you are using MMTTY to receive data and want to drive your mechanical teletype machine.
I built this interface, http://www.aetherltd.com/connecting.html, and I have been able to send to the printer keyboard key strokes and text to the ASR via the serial port. When option 2. Enable RS232 TX and TX On/Off allows you to transmit text to the RS232 output. Is enabled.
But the option to have RTTY received via the sound card and sent via the serial port to the ASR 28 has not worked.
Pointers anyone?
