[GreenKeys] How did you acquire your Teletypes?

I actually procured the TU before the teletype. I stumbled across a CV-483 Navy 850 shift demodulator and took it home. I then researched it taught myself a little about RTTY using glass and then set out for a teletype. Mark Blair NF6X answered the call to hook another on Mechanical teletype and hooked me up with a really nice M28 KSR. One thing lead to another a CV-2460 from W5JV Doug Hensley and some messing around and bam on the air with mechanical teletype.

I mainly get on the MRCG Clatternet and I did make a partial Non clatternet QSO with Bill KE3BK propagation was just not that great and I was only able to get partial copy.

My collection of vintage military radios and teletype keeps getting bigger. It’s pushed most of my other hobbies aside.
