Dave,

I assume that the Lorenz LO15 is now using 50 baud gears?  The Teletype 
M15 & Lorenz LO15 were designed in1930 when these machines were 
connected by miles of wire which distorted the signal. If  you are going 
to connect your Lorenz to ITTY or i-telex or a radio modem (TU), you 
won't have that distortion and a 50 baud machine will copy 45 baud fine 
(and vice-versa.).  These machines only need about 4-5 msec of the 22 
msec. pulse.  (You can optimize a 50 baud machine for 45 baud by setting 
the Range Selector to about 80, rather than the typical 60.)
