Hi!

This info for Dave VE3-ZDB re: 45.5bd. Lorenz original
motor pinion...

Dave, the Teletype motor pinion for the M15 @ 45.5bd. cannot be used
with the original Lorenz main shaft driven gear...

Both the gear and pinion are “Fine cut” teeth,
whereas the Teletype gear set are “Coarse” cut, and they can only
be changed as a complete set...

The Teletype gear set can be used on the Lorenz main shaft,
but you would have to use the Teletype M15 gear hub,
and you would have to adjust the motor height of the Lorenz
motor mounting plate to ensure proper mesh...

If I can’t find the proper Lorenz pinion for you,
I may have a set of Teletype gears for 60WPM,
for the M15...

It will take a few days before I can get back to you!

I will call you by landline, as I have some TU’s on-hand
here which mite work for you...

It is a matter of finding them, most of my gear is still
packed after our last move!
