Greetings,
I have been lurking on this list since last November, when I purchased a Model 15 RO that was removed from a newsroom in the 70's. I have spent the last few months cooking up a loop supply and driver circuitry. Now that the weather is a bit nicer, it is time to perform the messy task of cleaning the dirt and grease out of this thing. I have been told that an overnight soak in a strong solution of Simple Green and hot water will do the trick. I plan to give it a soak, rinse it in a couple of changes of water, and set it out in the sun where it can more quickly dry off. Any advice you guys could give me on how to best manage this would be greatly appreciated. My previous teletype experience was in the late 70's-early 80's with a couple of Model 33 KSRs. Thanks!
Regards,
Brad Fayette
