I found the problem.
As a test, I set the printer assembly down with out bolting it
down.
I lifted it up a bit to disengage the motor gear and pushed the
LT button on the CCU.
The motor seemed to take forever to get moving and never did
get up to speed.
I set the printer down and clipped a jumper across the series
(speed governing resistors.)
Hit the LT button again and the motor took off like a bat out of
hell.
So DMM time.
Oddly enough, the resistors read 100 ohms (in parallel) and there's
a 240 drop across them. Like the motor is shorted, although it
shouldn't be. Or it wouldn't run at all.
I have a spare motor already set up with the speed pick up on it to
test this with.
