[GreenKeys] M28 LPR reperf

I'm not much of a Klein guy. I touched one in the Army, but I don't
remember having to empty a chad box. Maybe I'm wrong, cause I think it
printed between feed holes. I don't think I ever used the GRC-46 to
send a message by teleprinter, but I did kill some time typing a fox
tape and rys, to keep up my typing skills.
Anyhow, there was a tape lid change for the 14 TD was a newer style for
chadless tape. It had slots or channels on the bottom side of the lid
rather than just a hole for the pins to poke through. I suspect part of
the problem was space for the lid to flip up when the pin was trying to
get through a hole. The slots allowed that and also prevented the chad
lids from being pressed down as they entered the TD.
My LPE doesn't punch a hole for the feed, the sprocket that pushed the
tape into the punch block does it, although it's not really a hole, but
a crater? I suspect the LPR is the same. That means there's an
adjustment to get the feed and data holes lined up.
I'm trying to recall if I ever actually read in any adjustment manual
about offsetting the feed slightly to get the pin pushing up the
trailing edge of the chad, but it seems common sense. There is some
pretty heavy duty spring tension pushing the pins up on the reader.
