Ah, yes, Hollywood.  My favorite technical glitch is the old "Remember 
WENN" series on AMC.  It was set in a late 1930s radio station ... with 
a Model 28 Teletype in their newsroom/break room and a Western Electric 
555 cord switchboard in the lobby.  The 555 wasn't introduced until 
1949, and of course the Model 28 wasn't until the early 1950s.
