[GreenKeys] Help with a PK-232

Greetings All,
I have been working on interfacing an ASCII terminal with ITTY with the
help of a PK-232 (at the suggestion of one of the members.)
Good news is that I have the system running and am copying ITTY on an ASCII
terminal.
The only issue I have is not beeing able to resolve is how to turn off line
feeds in the PK232. The unit does not respond to the command given in the
manual.
Anyone on board who is familiar with the '232 who could give me a pointer
would be much appreciated. ROM version 7, if that helps.
