Thanks for the comments. Yes, I am proposing just the ferrite to supply
R+Jax. No additional resistor. The bead in my notes has an impedance curve
somewhat similar to the RL circuit. I agree, though, that there may be an
issue due to DC (loss of permeability due to core saturation), temperature
(again, permeability decrease), and power dissipation. I will look into it
more.
