Several years later . the saga continues. While I'm continuing my education
on an M15 I decided to take a closer look at my TT-109/FG now that I'm a bit
more knowledgeable on such topics :->.
I finally found some information in
https://usermanual.wiki/Manual/KleinschmidtCat70.1239740731.pdf pages 24-26
of 61. It has a serial governed motor, standard print symbols, two gear
sets (60 & 100 WPM), supports Neutral @ 20 and 60 mA, and Polar 30 mA. The
mechanisms in mine look to be in pretty good shape, although the rest
certainly needs a cleaning, and of course general lubrication is in order.
There's also a description found in:
https://apps.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/408320.pdf pages 36-38.
Technical manual is TM 11-2228 (TO 31W4-2FG-181) - no name specified
anywhere.
No luck finding this document. The two TMs listed below remain
undiscovered, too. So . here I am with a "data call". Thank you.

Subject: Speaking of Military Teletypes (Teletypewriter Reperforator
TT-109/FG)
This one is actually a Kleinschmidt, but I've had no luck finding any online
documentation. The closest that I've been able to find are references to
parts lists:
TM 11-5815-257-20P Organizational Maintenance Repair Parts and Special Tool
Lists: Reperforator, Teletypewriters TT-107/FG, TT-107B/FG, TT-109/FG,
TT-345/FG, TT-345A/FG, TT-346/FG, and TT-364A/FG
TM 11-5815-257-35P Field and Depot Maintenance Repair Parts and Special
Tool Lists: Reperforator, Teletypewriters TT-107/FG, TT-107B/FG, TT-109/FG,
TT-345/FG, TT-345A/FG, TT-346/FG, and TT-364A/FG
Judging by Duncan's comments regarding the TT-4A I suspect that neither of
these two documents (if found) would be much help.
Is anyone familiar with this reperforator? Know of any documentation for
it?
Also, the repeated use of "FG" in the designations means what? "Field
Grade" :->? Would there be a (e.g.) different housing for "office grade"?
Thanks!
