[GreenKeys] Faulty memory?

That could be it, but the recently purchased almost white paper rolls 
don't have them.  Compared to paper towels, the core is heavier stock.

I never thought to ask back then when someone might have remembered why. 
  At the time it was just an annoyance and move on to the next task.
