[GreenKeys] Baud rate change

Since you say you want 110v and 60Hz and 45.45 baud, what I am about to write is probably not of interest.

As for burning up the motor, no it’s the other way around. You cannot run a motor designed for 60Hz on 50Hz. But going from 50Hz to 60Hz is no problem. I have been running my Lorenz 15c on 60Hz without any issues. The motor can be adjusted to get to the desired speed.

The power box — well, I don’t know what that is.

The voltage is a different matter. I wanted to keep mine original and so I use a step up transformer. So I am feed 240v 60Hz into the Lorenz.

Jeff Angus made a fantastic controller that switches speeds on his machine. If you search Greenkeys archives you can find it. I believe it runs 110v

As I asked previously, what machine do you have?

Paul
