Isn't your motor mounted on a flat metal
plate that then screws to the keyboard base?

I just packed up an FPRK for shipping, so I
can't look at it any more, but my experience
has been that most Teletype motors are mounted
on a flat plate, and the wired go to a block with
round flat terminals that then contact springy
contacts on the base.

Notice upper left corner ... Motor Plate ...

Remove the screws that hold that plate to the base and you
should be able to swing the plate out on a pivot screw
(shown vertically under the gear in the above pix, but not
labelled or identified) ... remove the pivot screw and the
whole motor assembly can walk away from the base.

The diagram is from page 3-2 of Bulletin 1082B.
