[GreenKeys] Never close enough and never willing to ship! LOL!

Don’t forget Greyhound bus. They’ll transport oversize and overweight items for half the price of the usual carriers. The only ‘gotcha’ is that not all GH stations participate, and some are only outbound, others only inbound.

I must have used them over half a dozen times last year, all with good results. Not much in the way of padding is required; the box gets loaded under the bus at the station when a match is made for a bus headed in that direction, then rides around until it gets there, entirely hands-off; I only know of one instance where one of my package was physically transferred from one bus to another. It also remains in the same orientation; good for an ASR 32/33 you don’t want upside down. If the pedestal was removed, it could be shipped in tandem by simply affixing a label, no boxing needed (like a bicycle). Try busfreighter.com for quotes; the interface is a bit buggy, but it’ll give you an idea. -Cory
