One thing you could do is get a PC that has a true com port on it. That way you can output at 45 baud. Then a dedicated loop supply and a couple of opto-isolators or so and you are in business. Jack Hart (SK) made a plan for a board that did this and produced some boards at one time. I have the design somewhere but have not found yet. Others may have it as it has been posted on greenkeys in the past.

No software required, but soldering and electronics is required.

Im sitting here wondering if one of my Hal 5000s or 6000s couldn't be the bridge and some type of software be used to solve the issue.??? A bit of background I designed a PC based weather notification system for use in emergency management and we use a very nice third party software for getting then processing the weather alerts etc... I think it would be cool to use one of my 15s as a defacto printer when I want to play or on a busy weather day... I can send the data numerous ways and could simply actuate a .exe program or send it to a printer etc etc... My thought was
> since my Hals already have a RS232 port and a loop output that easily hooks to the 15s would it be possible to use an existing software solution as a Bridge so basically Id send the weather alert to be printed through some sort of software that could feed it the RS232 port in the Hal at 45 baud which would then relay it to the model 15...
