Have you tried the Deoxit on the contacts of the counters ? Expensive stuff but sometimes worth it.

The point I was trying to make was - That was a troubleshooters nightmare with four separate problems causing the same symptom!

However my 32 is a Telex machine. So if it is really 60 mils that makes me happy because the entire rest of my system is 60 mils. That includes about eight loops.

So I thank you gentlemen for setting me straight.

I am bringing a second URA-17 back to life. I had to replace four electrolytics in it. Now it is waiting for a smoke test as soon as I can finish the loop supply for it.

If I can find someone to help me put up a Comet antenna for my second radio, I hope to try diversity reception one of these Saturdays.

Right now I am working on my two Heathkit IB-1103 Frequency counters that are driving me crazy. If I reseat the three plugin boards they work for about a day then get flakey again. I keep going back to a little battery operated B&K 1827 which is very reliable. What a shame, since I have the two Heathkits.
