Ooh me me. That’s indeed used in the receiving transmitter-distributor with
the oddball distributor segments. That TD is used for the one-time tape
cypher system. I have one of those and would be happy to give your poor
little oddball a good home. Ya never know when a massive EMP will take out
all this modern stuff and we’ll need to go back to encrypted paper tape…….
The chart I have shows 104580 as the 30 tooth gear and 104579 as the 7
tooth pinion. I dunno what’s up with that.
