There may also be a 1MF capacitor seried with a 5 ohm resistor at the
left rear of the 15 deck and under where the polar relay would mount
that you should disconnect completely to see if the GFCI still trips. I
found that there was high leakage to its 3" rectangular metal shell that
caused my unit to trip. I replaced the cap with newer device.
You could also remove the motor assembly from the deck and power
independently to see if you can isolate to the motor assembly.
