[GreenKeys] Keyboard always pulled high model 19

I think we could use a little more detailed explanation.

What is it that's "high" & what did you mean by "high"?

" When I remove the keyboard and turn it by hand it works like it should"
The keyboard works like it should or are you turning the printing unit?

"Only when I put the keyboard in the unit does it always show as shorted."
The keyboard acts like it's shorted? IOW, the keyboard doesn't key the loop when you try to type on it? If I'm grokking that right, maybe the problem is in the base & not in the keyboard. There's a contact set in the base that has to open up to let the keyboard into the loop. Check to see if someone may have put a shorting wire across that.

Dear Greenkeys people,

When I use the keyboard (model 19 but this part should be the same as a 15) it always shows high. When I remove the keyboard and turn it by hand it works like it should, and testing the contacts (after bypassing the switch that shorts them when theres no keyboard) inside there is no short between the contact and the cable. Only when I put the keyboard in the unit does it always show as shorted.

Any help is appreciated!
