To give you a quick less detailed to your questions.




Yes, you will be able to run the motor on standard 115 volt ac available in the US,
with the proper connection.




The selector electromagnet on the side uses 20ma or 60ma (selected normally by wiring jumpers}
that is pulsed DC from the decoding device or the keyboard. This 20 or 60 ma needs to be current
limited to those values to keep from frying the coils. The resistor value is calculated using ohms law with the resistance of the selector magnets and the chosen supply voltage.
A DC power supply of 70 to 150 volts with an appropriate series resistor in series with the keyboard
contacts can be used for local printing.
The keyboard is just a switch that produces the proper on off code for each letter. The normal
position for the keyboard switch is closed and that is called the mark signal. The open position
of the keyboard switch is called the space signal.
An electronic board can be used to interface with a radio or computer and several are available
from others on this form or other sources.
