It says Teletype and the number says it is Model40.  This came
after my depature from Teletype so I don't know much about it, but I 
think it was sort of an equivalent to an IBM product workstation
that could have a keyboard, CRT display, line printer and I don't
know what else.  I think a lot of them were used by Bell System
companies.

The only part I'm familiar with is the printer.  Sadly those are all
broken and unrepairable due to a bad choice of plastic for the type
carrier.  A couple of former Teletype engineers started a company
in San Diego with one of their main activities being replacement
of Model 40 printers with some currently available machines.
