[GreenKeys] Model 33 typewheel alignment

I mentioned that I'd made a special tool to help me align a Model 33 typewheel. Someone asked if I'd post a photo. See attached:

The first photo shows the tool next to a ruler calibrated in 1/100 inch increments. It started out about 2.5 inches long after I coiled the two-turn spring in it and before I bent the prongs. It's made out of mild steel wire salvaged from an old political yard sign holder (I snag them after elections, it's good iron wire for many uses). The prongs are about 1/2 inch apart and about 1/10 of an inch long, filed to square cross section about 0.0625 (1/16) square so the engage with the top of the typewheel. You have to pinch the two arms together a bit to get them to engage, spring tension helps hold it in place.

The second photo shows the tool engaged with the typewheel, with a socket wrench engaged with the nut on the top of the typewheel shaft. Do not be tempted to turn the wrench handle at right angles for more torque. Keep it straight up and down so you are applying only torque and not bending forces that could harm the typewheel shaft. The coiled end rests on the ribbon spools and is easy to hold between finger and thumb as you adjust the typewheel angle and tighten the nut.
