That product looks really interesting.  I’ve looked at the VFDs on AliExpress, but wasn’t aware of this.

 

It looks like it could work.  The listing suggests it will support inductive loads (albeit at reduced capacity) and claims to have sinusoidal (rather than variable PWM) output.

 

Do you have any experience with it on teletype machines, or on other inductive loads?
