[ICOM] 781 problem Mic gain gos away

It almost sounds like a bad electrolytic cap and when you power off the radio and back on it reforms. You might check if the mic bias is there when the gain goes low. I would open the mic connector on the emd of the mic cord and stab the voltage there so its loaded. I can't remember hearing of this issue during my time at Icom.
