Lloyd: This may be a problem involving one of the diodes in the filter board or PA that causes this. One of my friends had the exact problem and that is what it turned out to be. This problem causes a PA oscillation below 50 mhz. This is why you see the high SWR. His local Icom authorized repair guy did the repair, and now allis OK. Good luck. Larry, K4LXV
