[Johnson] Aux. coupling capacitor replacements

Hello again, list.

My Valiant I and Thunderbolt both have shorted aux coupling capacitors. 
If you've dealt with this situation before, what did capacitors you use
to replace them & whre did you get them?

Note:  I've accumulated quite a pile of Sangamo type "H" cast mica
capacitors for use as possible replacements.  When tested, each and
every one of them was shorted, whether they were new old stock or used. 
Beware!  Other brands (Sprague, Aerovox, Solar) were fine, but the
Sangamos are JUNK!
