[Johnson] "Johnson Viking II C-C"

Hi Gang,

Well, it sure has been an absolute blast for me here, working some of you
boys in the north-east & mid-west this Easter weekend, with my revived
Viking II C-C transmitter on good ol' 40-meters!

Bright & early this Easter Monday morning, I took the rig out of its
operating position, & did a wee bit of "...surgery" to its innards, with the
intention of (hopefully!) brightening-up its somewhat muddy-sounding
audio...

By one account, anyway (i.e. just monitoring myself on the AR-88LF!), the
exercise was a success---however, it'll take extra sets of more critical
ears to confirm this...that's why I hope to be able to work a few of you
fellows later to-day on 40. In fact, I'm gonna go downstairs & start
hollering "CQ" in about a half hour, or so (presently, it's about 10:15 AM
EDST)...
