[Lowfer] Re: Medfer Loop Design

Back around 1995 there was a beacon listing in the Top End column of  THE
LOWDOWN for a medfer callsign "ABC".  This beacon was on 1677.5 kHz and used
a transmitting loop.  The operator was Todd Roberts, WD4NGG, on Hilton Head
in South Carolina.  I remember seeing a picture of it and a few paragraphs
in one issue, but I flipped through my back-issues last night and couldn't
find it.

I'm pretty sure that I read where Todd got some actual DX reports on it (no
offense intended to you loopers...  ;-)

John, do you recall any of the details?
