Peter, Steve and group:

Here's the situation with Laurence: He's found a hotel but it's very tall
and skinny - Only 100ft x 100ft wide. He's on the top floor 1000ft above
ground level and is measuring 10 uv from VO1NA on the balcony with his new
E-probe/fishing rod with return clamped to the balcony. The hotel manager
just called and told him the executive suite is available at ground level
for the same price. He decides to leave the E-probe at the upper balcony and
drops 1000ft of coax down to his new room. He isolates the return of the
E-probe and the coax shld becomes the return. Also, he grounds the shld to
his new balcony. The question is: what effect does the change in receiver
location have on VO1NAs signal?

Second situation: Laurence moves to a different hotel a short distance down
the street that is the same height but 5000ft x 5000ft wide and his room is
again on the top floor. What is the signal strength of VO1NA with the return
of the E-probe connected to the balcony?
