Hi Mark,

try this QEX article written by Nathan O. Sokal, one of the
co-inventors of class E:

The paper has improved formulas that take finite tank Q into account
when calculating output power. Class E works great with high Q in the
tank so if you are going to make a Lowfer (or Medfer) TX, simply use the
antenna + loading coil as tank. Just tweak "C1" and your variometer to
arrive at the optimum class E point of operation.
