As my collection of LF receive loops continue to grow I now wonder how
much interaction there may be between the loops. For example I have a
ten foot square loop I dedicated to DCF39, 138.830 KHz, monitoring last
winter. How close to this loop could I place my ten foot octagon shaped
tunable loop with no noticeable interaction between the two if the
second loop is tuned to 137.775 KHz?
And another question. If multiple receive loops are tuned to the same
frequency and spaced properly would there be directivity and signal
gained over a single loop? More signal would probably be useless but
would this improve S/N? Just thinking about scaling my 3.456 GHz loop
yagi for LF :)
