[Lowfer] Radials Practicality ?

Here's a practical question about the use of radials as in a LowFER
Vertical Antenna.

Any problems imagined when laying out radials to group bunches on them,
say 10, and center wrap and solder them to one same-sized wire to the
"main" ground point. (Note, this would qualify for 20 radials in the
"single attached" method, but here the wire extends in two opposite
directions, so double the radial count for n-wires.)

Will this method compromise the ground plane attempted?

BTW, an advrt in QST offers a large, drilled square plate for radial
termination. It must show about 100-bolts as tie points. However, I plan
on using a large electrical bussbar w/ threaded holes mounted at the ant
base and covered from elements.
