We have snow on the hills and the station here last weekend.
I worked at Thule and at CFS Alert back in early 80's- The first step I took
off the C-130 at Ended ended on my back having slipped on the icy runway. It
sort of went down hill from then....
I remember looking at NDB's and marvelling how strong the LF and MF stations
were in the early mornings from 83 N 74 W - which I had taken more interest
of LF then.
