Oh, don't worry about that.  And if I could find a listening post a little 
farther from my house, I wouldn't need to shut it down at all.

Thanks -- I'll watch for that one too.  I'm just about to leave for the 
hill I was on yesterday to listen a little.

By the way, I hope everyone knows that by "better ones" I meant more 
complete captures, not "better" beacons!  :D

ps  I think I've decided on the IC-706 over the R-75 ... since the $$ are 
extremely tight I like that it is a transceiver for about the same $$ as 
the R-75 ... but admittedly, not as nice a receiver :(

Ok - that's the last time I'm going to mention it until I actually get the 
thing, I promise.
