Thanks again - have 0.5A antenna current so should be radiating something. I
will shut down again and re-do a few connections.

Re-connected a short ( 30 ft vertical ) as I had built a 3 - 4 mH coil that
I wanted to try out. Works fine on receiving - ha ! Antenna current 0.5A
( old RF ammeter ) - but everything on the top loading ( three 60 ft
sections ) are  all touching trees. Don't try this on a vertical - I can
hear you saying.   Shutting down again - and will wait for the leaves to
clear, and will re-configure top-wires.
