No LF activity here over the summer. The Icom R75 I use at the Maine QTH
died (again). Probably more dried-out SMT electrolytics. 24/7 was pretty
rough service on those radios. With my none-too-steady hands, I don't
look forward to SMT repairs.
I plan to put TAG back on the air from Maine in mid-October, to run
until next May. No changes likely. I should be able to provide listening
reports from Mass. this winter.
Ham radio time is mostly spent on HF CW these days. Have had a lot of
fun with SKCC ( https://www.skccgroup.com/ ) in recent years.
Regarding listings of active Lowfer stations, the LWCA site is the only
one I'm aware of: ( https://www.lwca.net/sitepage/part15/index-lf.htm ).
The trouble is that it has gotten pretty out of date. Perhaps it's time
for another housecleaning and rebuild. Someone needs to monitor the LWCA
Message Board and this mail list and make changes as they occur. I'm
sure that JD would appreciate a volunteer.
