0010z: FIRE ANT with communications test count.
0011z: FIRE ANT with communications test count.
[USSTRATCOM CP]

[0012z+/-: KNOT 32 AF6B67 E6B launched from TINKER and flew north then west
to the California coast where it met with a tanker (AE014C) ofF the coast
of California (AR-8A and AR-8B) than returned to TINKER.]
0115z: NUTSHELL (suspected AF6B67) called and raised MAINSAIL and requested
to enter the net.
0119z: NUTSHELL entered the net.

========
0108z: ELECTRIC (NCS); MPR7WC; 64 characters; P2.
MP47WCF4RJSH2DAR4E3NR4YJNOCU752DD6HUNVQU2OM6LJTHF7TMYQU2OM6LJTH5

0113z: NUTSHELL worked SUNSPOT. SUNSPOT directed NUTSHELL to Z120.

0114z: ELECTRIC; MPZ2CN; P2.
MPZ2CNDSSLAWXJMDUBTUMGLAMBEBL2
========

0156z: SUNSPOT called NUTSHELL and raised MAINSAIL who volunteered a loud
and clear. NUTSHELL responded to MAINSAIL with a loud and clear. SUNSPOT
calls NUTSHELL and directs him to meet on Z120. NUTSHELL responds with
"WHISKEY on ZULU 120" and quiet. NUTSHELL was westbound over Colorado at
the time.

0209z: SUNSPOT called and raised ELECTRIC.
0210z: SUNSPOT requested to exit the net.
0212z: The connectivity between the two is not working.
0214z: ELECTRIC (sometimes IDing as MAINSAIL and maybe switching
transmitter sites) initiates the challenge.
0214z: The frequency goes quiet without response or completion of the
process.
[SUNSPOT was probably pre0000z CHIVALRY/MAST 11 who was approaching TRAVIS
at the time.]

0248z: LAJES with test count.
0248z: WEST COAST with test count (same operator).

[0242Z+/-: ? AFF785 E6B launched from PAX RIVER and flew west over the
northern route that crossed Lake Michigan and then continued west, avoiding
weather systems, and landing at MCHORD, WA).
0251z: UNCLE JOE (distinctly spoken at all times) called and raised
MAINSAIL to enter the net. MAINSAIL always identifies him as LOCAL JOE.
0253z: UNCLE JOE entered the net.

Quiet.

0709z: NUTSHELL called ELECTRIC through 0714z with making known contact.
Suspect he was trying to exit the net. He was on approach to TINKER at that
time.

0751z: UNCLE JOE called and raised MAINSAIL and requested to exit the net.
MAINSAIL changed transmitters to work him.
0759z: UNCLE JOE exited the net. UNCLE JOE was on approach to MCHORD,
Washington at the time.

1405z: TUFF 61 called ANY RADIO and raised WEST COAST for a radio check and
gone.

1504z: ELECTRIC (NCS); MPPWWQ; 30 characters (normal); P2.
MPPWWQXXFSQNPQ2X5RSICGPMQPNW3L
1507z: ELECTRIC; MPPWWQ; very weak echo mostly buried in the SDR's noise
floor.

1526z: ELECTRIC; FOR BUSH 07; MPKN65; 30 characters (normal); p2.
MPKN65RCT57IYSKKJ7DADYB4KR7LSB

1546z: ELECTRIC; MPAYUA; 21 characters (very rare); P2.
MPAYUAMLGYXRKE6ADGYXP
[Strings less than 30 in this series are very rare (with emphasis on very).
For example the 23 Jun 24 event off Norway (UNDULATE and LOOKOUT 44)
utilized 26 character EAMs.]

[1559z+/-: ? AF65CC launched from TINKER and flew northbound to southern
Lake Michigan.]
1606z: BARN ROOF (probable AF65CC; suspected subject of the 1504z EAM)
called and raised ELECTRIC and requested to enter the net.
1606z BARN ROOF entered the net.

1646z: ELECTRIC; MPCBT2; 21 characters; P2.
MPCBT2AXEER5UDUDSEJR5

[W1VD VLF Grabber website indicated weak broadcasts slightly trailing the
1504z 30 character MPPWWQ; the 1546z 21 character MPAYUAM; and the 1646z 21
character MPCBT2 (1 hour window for the 21 character strings). E6B AE0413
BU#164386 was in orbit west of Greenland at the time. This mimicked the 23
Jun 24 event off the coast of Norway involving the USS TENNESSEE with its
30/26/26 session, with the 26 character strings within a one hour window.
Character counts under 30 characters in the MP series are very rare.]

[1959z: GAYLY 28 AF77C9 E6B launched from PAX RIVER and flew to the
Atlantic where it entered a large racetrack orbit. TACAMO LANT. No player
logged entering net on HF. As of 2359z he's been in that racetrack orbit
for over 3 hour at a current ground speed of 270/280 knots. He was still in
that orbit at 0200z UTC 23 Aug 25. Still in the racetrack orbit 0223z 23
Aug 25.]

2002z: ELECTRIC; FOR WASHY/IE; MPDHNF; P2.

[2050z+/-: 17.8 KHz (LANT) VLF broadcast indicated on W1VD VLF Grabber web
site. No HF h+10/h40 activity logged. Perhaps poor propagation? Nothing
heard east coast 8992 SDR nor on UTwente 8992/11175.]
