Japanese Warships of World War II by Anthony J. Watts, publ by
Doubleday in 1966, this is 1970 reprint from England. Hardback, digest
size, a chapter each on Capital Ships, Carriers, Cruisers, Destroyers,
Torpedo Boats, Submarines, Escorts, Minelayers, Minesweepers, Gunboats,
Patrol Boats, "Coastal Forces", Landing Craft, and Auxiliaries; pus a
chart of the combined fleet as of 7 Dec '41, and losses during WW2.
Red cover; spine separated and covered in 'scotch' tape, but otherwise
nice. Gazillions of photographs, line drawings, and charts. Some
photos are official USN of the ships being sunk, or after capture; most
appear to be "Imperial War Ministry", i.e., official Japanese gov'ment
photos.
So what's this thing worth? I find it only of academic interest ...
