A colleague and I were disusing NAVY/USMC radio jeeps used after WWII but
before Korea.
Specifically Navy jeep models CVD-10182-D and CVD-10466 appear on the cover
of the undated thick Supplement to the four jeep Maintenance Manuals (TM9-803,
TM9-1803A, TM9-1830B and TM9-1925B), which Maintenance Manual Supplement
includes both the 12 and 24 volt version of Power Supply Kit MX-736/MR.

They both use Vehicular Modification Kit MX-735/MR with the Auto-Lite
waterproof ignition system per the Parts Catalog for MX-735/MR dated 1
April 1947. Both CVD numbers appear on the cover of that parts catalog,
so the Auto Lite waterproofed deep fording jeep is common to both CVD
numbers.

I know the Navy TCS with the 211330 power supply was used with the 24v radio
jeeps.

All of the AN/MRC-5A, 6A, 7A and 8A radio sets used 12v in the CVD-10182-D.

The question is, is there any documentation on what other Navy or USMC radios
would use 24v in a radio jeep during the time period between 1945 and
early1950?

Regards,
Mark Tombleson
