Marty,
You're correct. There is no provision or circuitry to adjust the B+, only
turn it on or off by applying bias voltage to the thyratron grids or removing it
which draws the grids down to ground through shunt resistors. The RA-34-H
and -J have a single transformer for all functions to the B+ switching is done
in the high AC lines instead of the transformer primary as in earlier models.
